Description

Jura, our much adored working cocker spaniel had a litter of four puppies on 7th April 2026. They are now nearly 7 weeks old. There are 2 dogs available, both boys.

Jura is derived from a long line of working stock but we have kept her as a family dog. She is bright, energetic and biddable and was very easy to train. We got her from a game-keeper / breeder in the Borders in April 2021. Both her parents are working dogs. Jack the father of the puppies is a working gun dog owned by a family friend in Fife. He is also liver coloured, has a lovely nature, is very capable and well trained. Both Jura and Jack are KC registered with excellent pedigrees including many Field Trial Champions on both sides. The puppies are now KC registered, vaccinated, microchipped and have been health checked by the vet.

The puppies are growing rapidly and are very active and becoming little characters. Both the dogs are entirely liver-coloured save a small white bib and some white on the back toes. All of the puppies are very ‘puppyish’ and sweet and have been handled by the family since birth. They should all make excellent family pets and given their heritage would be good gundogs. They are not docked.

We live on the Isle of Bute which is easily accessible by an hourly ferry 45 minutes from Glasgow. We welcome visits to the puppies by interested people and will happily send videos and updates. For serious interest we can arrange a mutually convenient place of viewing. They are available from 2nd June when they turn 8 weeks.
