This is an excellent WW1 dated British Officer’s brown leather holster for use with Sam Browne belt rigs. The holster has a flap top with brass stud that fastens to a retaining strap with eyelet on the body. The rear of the holster has the correct brass belt bar and flap with brass hook. The front of the holster is impressed by the maker ‘T. Thomasson & Co’ (a period Worcester England based leatherworks). It is also dated ‘1917’. All stitching and leather are clean and intact.
