An excellent condition WW1 dated brown leather Sam Browne pattern holster for the Webley & Enfield MK VI .455" Calibre Service Revolvers (illustrated in images 1 is a WW1 British officer on the parade ground wearing his Sam Browne pattern holster similar to ours). It has a full flap cover with single brass stud which fastens to a retaining strap with eyelet stitched to the body. It has a large rear belt loop with original brass hook for attachment to Sam Browne belt rigs. The belt loop is impressed by the manufacturer ‘G&H’ and date 1915.
