The Beretta model 1934 is a compact, semi-automatic pistol which was issued as a standard service firearm to the Italian armed forces beginning in 1934 until 1943 (see page 274 of Axis Pistols by Still). It is chambered for the 9 mm Corto, more commonly known as the .380 ACP. Our pistol has the correct Beretta monogramed grips which are undamaged and the metal has most of its original blue finish with even age patina and service wear. The butt is fitted with Military lanyard bar. The right side of the slide & frame are stamped with matching serial numbers '907014'. The frame is stamped with inspection marks (illustrated). The slide has manufacturer, model, and calibre detail together with 1941 date (illustrated). Deactivated to EU specification in 2025, the pistol’s slide and trigger move, the hammer moves, the magazine can be removed & the safety catch has been fixed in place during the deactivation process. The pistol comes with a later leather holster with full flap cover, retaining strap, spare magazine carrier and rear belt loop all leather and stitching are as new clean and intact.
