The Beretta model 1934 is a compact, semi-automatic pistol which was issued as a standard service firearm to the Italian armed forces beginning in 1934 until 1943 (see page 274 of Axis Pistols by Still). It is chambered for the 9 mm Corto, more commonly known as the .380 ACP. Our pistol has the correct Beretta monogramed grips which have light service wear (one grip has a very fine old stable and secure crack which can be seen in the images) and the metal has its original blue finish. The butt is fitted with Military lanyard bar. The right side of the slide & frame are stamped with matching serial numbers '974528'. The slide has manufacturer, model, and calibre detail together with 1942 date (illustrated). Deactivated to UK specification in 2000 the original deactivation certificate was lost at some point in its life & a replacement certificate issued in 2026 without the need for any further deactivation work being required. The pistol cocks & dry fires, the slide locks back, the safety catch works and the magazine can be removed. The price includes deactivation certificate & UK delivery. D 6058
