These belts continued in service through WWII and would also hold 80 x .30 calibre cartridges on eight round Garand clips. This is an original M-1923 U.S. Army webbing ammunition belt for M1 Garand .30 Calibre, Semi Automatic Rifles. These belts would hold 80 .30 calibre cartridges on eight round Garand clips in 10 pockets with full flap covers & clasp fasteners. The belt is 30” overall length and is clean with all material & stitching intact. The belt has the correct zinc alloy interlocking bar fastener and has an original U.S army first aid pouch attached which contains an empty wartime U.S Government first aid tin with removable lid. The lid has embossed user instructions and maker detail. Four of the pouches contain an original Garand rifle ammo clip each loaded with 8 rounds of inert Deactivated Rounds.
