This is a scarce WW2, 1943 dated ’37 Pattern webbing Bren gun canvas holdall/spare barrel bag. The bag is complete with original contents including the number 2 Bren gun tool, cleaning rods, oil bottles, jags and brushes. All of the contents are shown in the photographs. This bag is stencilled in black on the inside W M.& A 1943 (date), a crowfoot and an inspection crowfoot over 59 on the inside of the top flap. The bag has an adjustable canvas sling and a separate carrying handle. The bag contains another pattern 37 webbing pouch which is stencilled on the outside in black WALLET SPARE PARTS.
