This is an excellent original WW2 1944 dated British Army motorcycle dispatch rider’s helmet (a contemporary image of a British Army dispatch rider is illustrated in image 1). This helmet has one small dent which can be seen in the images and is consistent with service use. The helmet is complete with webbing liner & padded leather sweatband, vented ear flaps, chin strap with buckle, press stud and rear laced head piece. The helmet has its original olive green paint. The leather sweatband is crisply date stamped '1944' together with manufacturer's mark 'BMB' (British Motor Bodies) and size ' 6 3/4'. As with all of our stock this item is guaranteed 100% original.
