WW2 1944 Dated Nazi German Luftwaffe Pilot Officer’s P38 Walther 9mm Semi Automatic Pistol Hard Case Brown Leather Holster. Sn 23182 - 23182

An original 1944 dated Walther P38 semi automatic pistol hard case holster in Brown leather as carried by Luftwaffe Pilot Officers. The holster has a hard leather lid secured with a leather strap through a metal bar on the body. The lid has a riveted metal plate which fits over the bar and reinforces the bar slot. The right aspect of the holster has an open top magazine carrier. The lid of the holster covers the open top of the carrier when closed. The rear of the holster has two leather stitched belt loops. The rear of the body is dated ‘44’ (1944) and has number ‘2’ inspection mark. It is also marked ‘P38’ (pistol designation). Inside the holster has it’s original ‘quick draw’ pull strap.
