This is an original, Nazi German Officer's, Luger, 9mm parabellum pistol. It has the standard German Infantry Officers' 4” barrel and is complete with its original undamaged chequered wood grips. It has clear Waffenamt and other inspection marks on the right side of its frame. The pistol has matching numbers 1711 / 11 and has just one other un-matching number ‘76’ on the side plate. The pistol is dated ‘1937’ and bears the Nazi German secret manufacturer code ‘S/42’ which is Mauser-Werke AG, Oberndorf on the Neckar. The pistol has its original correct magazine with WW2 era Bakelite toggle butt. The magazine and butt have no visible numbers or inspection marks. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2026 the pistol’s trigger moves, the slide moves backwards and & forwards under spring tension & the magazine can be removed.
