WW2 Era U.S.N. Marl 1 Fighting Knife and United States Navy (U.S.N.) Mk1 Plasti Knive

This is a very nice early U.S.N. Mk1 knife made by Pal Blade Co. It is marked to the blade with U.S.N. Mk1 on one side and R.H. Pal 35 to the other side. It has a parkerised blade with a leather handle with black yellow and red spacers and a dull aluminium butt. See U.S. Military Knives by M.H.Cole item 23, page 81 for the identical knife. It is contained in its grey plastic scabbard marked to the front with U.S.N. Mk1 and to the rear with Nord – 8114 over B.M.Co 1/1 V.P. Markings highlighted with chalk which can be wiped.
