An original Hitler-Jugend (HJ) Hitler Youth dagger with nickel plated pommel and cross guard. It has undamaged original black chequered grips, the front inset with the red and white enamel HJ diamond & black swastika. It has a 5 ½” long, 1” broad single edged blade. On one side the blade is crisply marked with RZM roundel & Nazi wartime manufacturer code ‘M7/13' which is the Nazi wartime secret manufacturer code for Arthur Schüttelhofer & Co, Solingen-Wald. As is common to find, the nickel plating has some rubbed service wear. The blade has staining consistent with age. The blade has its original leather hilt washer. The dagger’s original black metal scabbard with leather integral frog and retention strap with press stud fastener are undamaged. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 23484:99
