The 100th (Prince of Wales's Royal Canadian) Regiment of Foot was a British Army regiment, raised in 1858. Under the Childers Reforms it amalgamated with the 109th Regiment of Foot (Bombay Infantry) to form the Prince of Wales's Leinster Regiment (Royal Canadians) in 1881. This is a Victorian Irish Prince Of Wales Leinster 100 Regiment Of Foot Mallaca Sword Stick made prior to becoming the Royal Canadians. It has a white metal ball top handle. It has a flat diamond shaped 18 ¼” blued blade and measures 23 ½” overall length. The blade is clean & tapers to a pin sharp point. The sword stick measures 33 ½”overall including scabbard. The Mallaca handle and scabbard are undamaged. The scabbard has a brass end cap and Silver ferrule at the throat which is engraved with the Regimental badge of the Prince Of Wales Leinster 100 Regiment Of Foot.
