A very well kept 12Gauge, Boxlock Ejector, Side by Side, Cogswell & Harrision Avant Tout.
Build completed in New Bond Street, on 15 Sep 1892, for A.R.Aldridge. Conventional top level with dolls head extension, double triggers, triplex locking and automatic top safety.
Barrels 28.25inch. Central brass bead. Nitro Proof. No pitting. 2.5inch chambers.
Stock of very nice walnut, oiled. Right handed with bend of comb of 2inch at heel. LOP 14.5inch with 0.5inch orange rubber butt plate.
Forend fitted with snap type fastner and tastefully engraved.
Weight of 6lbs 6oz.
Comes with its leather and brass cornered Cogswell & Harrison labelled hard case.
