Description

A Martini Henry Mk 111 short lever service rifle in 577/450 dated 1882. By N A & A Co. Ltd, National Arms and Ammunition Company Ltd. This stunning rifle has many military inspection and proof stamps, wood furniture is excellent with very few minor bumps. Measures 49 1/2 " and the barrel is clean. The top of the receiver is stamped S-X, strengthened extractor. Birmingham roundel on the butt. One of the last ones to be manufactured, the full details of this stunning rifle is in Neil Aspinshaw's book, THE MARTINI-HENRY FOR QUEEN AND EMPIRE.
