This is a rare, original WW1 era German RÜDIGER HILDESHEIM Sniper Telescopic Sight for Mauser G98 rifles. The steel sight is undamaged with original black paint. The sight is fitted with sight mounts . The sight is marked by the manager RÜDIGER HILDESHEIM either side of the elevation adjustment knob base. The tube is signed by the retailer ‘W.Peting Berlin’ & what appears to be ‘Kgl Hofbuchsen Halker’. The optics of the sight with post reticule function as they should (unable to photograph through viewing lens). The sight is 11” overall length. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 15498
