This is an original British India Arsenal made Gurkha Military Kukri. It has a 12 ¼” inch single edged fullered Kukri blade & measures 16 ¾” overall. The wood handle with raised central band has a steel pommel plate. The blade has the correct notch near to the hilt. The blade is stamped '45' (1945 date with double struck number 4) and ‘IC’ (India Government mark). There are also other indistinct inspection marks including number ‘7’ on the spine. It comes with its original leather covered wood scabbard. The scabbard is fitted with original laced frog which has 2 belt loops. some small areas of leather of the scabbard are absent near to the throat. The surface of the leather has age and service related scuffing to be expected. The price includes UK delivery. ED 2312
