The Commando was introduced in the late 70s as Barnett’s flagship self‑cocking crossbow.
The 200lb limb became standard in the early 80s.
By the late 80s, Barnett shifted to newer designs and phased out the Commando.
Barnett Commando Crossbow was used as a prop inspiration for Chewbacca’s bowcaster in Star Wars
This is a used vintage crossbow, so it has scruffy cosmetics and the brass isn’t shiny anymore.
Purely cosmetic — performance is unaffected.
Ideal for someone who wants a working Commando, not a display piece.
