Please note this is a UK spec deactivation, before we sell it we will get it deactivated to EU standards. This is mandatory.
Here we have a very interesting deactivated pistol that was manufactured for only a short three year period before and during World War One.
The Harringron and Richardson Self Loading Pistol is almost a total copy of the Webley Self Loading Pistol with a few minor changes and was designed to be used by law enforcement in the United States as well as for private purchase.
The pistol failed financially due to early distrust of self loading pistols and due to the .25 calibre which was heavily promoted but just didn’t reach the financial success gun manufacturers thought it would at the time.
The pistol is a small blued steel piece with plastic grip scales marked with ‘H&R ARMS Co.’.
The inscriptions on either side of the slide read ‘H&R SELF LOADING CALIBER .25’ and ‘Harrington And Richardson Arms Co. Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Pat, Aug 20 1907, April 16 1909’.
The serial number is ‘13422’.
~ Dimensions ~
The pistol is 5 inches (12.5 cm) from butt to barrel.
The pistol weighs 340g.
~ Condition ~
The pistol is in good condition for its age and retains most of its final finish.
~ Postage ~
UK postage is £15, international at cost and it can be viewed in our shop.
