HIKMICRO: Thermal Imaging Specialists

HIKMICRO is very well known in the UK for its innovative thermal imaging technology, and we had the pleasure of an exclusive interview with them at The British Shooting Show earlier this year. Again we managed to grab Paul Hodson, the Business Development Manager at HIKMICRO, for another interview at The National Shooting Show.

When we could carve out some time with Paul, the HIKMICRO stall was bustling, with many attendees wanting to get a taste of their brand-new scopes and binoculars. Having spent last year’s show outside, they had been moved into the main hall this year and had been practically swamped since the opening of the show.

Habrok 4K

Some of the products that they were especially looking forward to when we last met were their Habroks range of thermal binoculars. Recently released, the Habrok 4K has seen an incredible amount of interest, surpassing the expectations of many, and generating quite the buzz around the show.

Alpex 4K

Another product that Paul was excited to tell us about earlier in the year was the Alpex 4K. This thermal rifle scope allows you to experience stunning image details, day or night, with exceptional target detection and identification capabilities across all magnification levels.

Thunder Zoom 2.0

Finally, the Thunder Zoom! The Thunder Zoom 2.0 thermal scope allows users to experience exceptional thermal sensitivity, and capture detailed images with a high-resolution detector and large apertures for enhanced temperature radiation capture. It’s dual FOV technology allows for optical zoom and maintains image quality, making target identification effortless. The innovative One-Time Zeroing feature saves time and ammunition by automatically adjusting the zero position with just one calibration. It’s safe to say that the Thunder Zoom was also high on our list of products to take a look at!

Service Centre

Despite their exciting products, our favourite aspect of HIKMICRO’s presence at the National Shooting Show, and the shows coming later in the year is their Service Centre. For HIKMICRO customers attending these shows, they will be able to have any repairs made to their products on the spot.

This has already been a big hit at the NSS, with the service centre bombarded with their customers. Free Device Healthcheck, Basic Maintenance, User Training, and Firmware Update services are available for HIKMICRO products purchased in the UK & IE. On-site service is free, with a focus on quick issue identification and resolution.
