Description
For sale is a German 1898 model 2nd pattern Mauser bayonet with 52cm long blase, characteristic hilt with its leather and steel scabbard. Stamped Erfurt and to 1903.
*Condition*
Overall the bayonet is in good condition with some historical pitting on the blade. The bayonet grip is nicely preserved with some pitting on the metal. The leather/metal scabbard has a sizeable dent in the middle and the leather is starting to crack. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
