INERT DEACTIVATED British WW2, 1942 dated 2” Practice mortar complete with its 1942 dated alloy nose fuse by CH Ltd. The undamaged alloy steel fins are stamped by the manufacturer EEC together with Feb / 42 date (February 1942) and ‘Z’ indicating Zinc components. The lacquered steel body has a nice brown patina on it and is stamped 2” MOR together with 1/42 (Jan 1942 date) and ‘WW’ within diamond cartouche manufacturer mark .
