Description

LOVELY GUN SERIAL: 40314. SHOOTS FINE.

WOODWORK GOOD FOR AGE, SEE PICS, SOME WHITE MARKS ON BUTT, mainly underneath I can't decide if paint or scrazes. A few tiny dinks on butt underneath

.

A clean, operational rifle with its original front globe and rear sights .

NOTE: tarnish mark LHS near barrel release where I think the former owner would have rested his thumb whilst pushing the barrel release catch forwards. A couple of small flat tarnish spots just rear of sight where his fingers have rested. SEE PHOTOS.

.

Below info gleaned from the net:

The Blue Book of Air Guns says the Anschutz 335 breakbarrel air gun was manufactured from 1980 to 2003. and was made in two versions. The first one has a barrel release that is parallel to the barrel and is pushed toward the muzzle. The later version’s barrel release is at a 45 degree angle to the barrel and it’s pushed in. There are some other minor differences.

THIS IS THE EARLIER VERSION - THE BARREL RELEASE IS PUSHED FORWARDS. :)

.

Anschutz designed the 335 to compete with Weihrauch and Feinwerkbau, and this is very clear in the overall design. Overall a very light rifle, the 335 is capable of decent range pest control and target shooting.

Power Output: Typically operates as a medium-powered airgun, performing optimally at around 8 to 10.5 ft-lb. Pushing standard versions past this range can cause cylinder stress or structural splits. Barrel & Accuracy:

Features a high-quality, precise 16mm heavy barrel renowned for exceptional intrinsic accuracy.
