    ~ Rare Circa 1950's Egyptian Revolutionary Officer's Sword Stick ~


    The bamboo sword stick comes with a brass ferrel and a silver pommel which bears the "Eagle of Saladin" and a ship inside the crest. The "Eagle of Saladin" was first introduced as a symbol of the Egyptian Revolution of 1952 and it holds a scroll on which the name of the state appears in Arabic script "جمهورية مصر العربية" (Arab Republic of Egypt).

    ~ Dimensions ~

    The length of 36 inches (92 cm).

    ~ Condition ~

    The woodwork has some light scratches but the item presents well.

    The metal handle and poker feature some pitting but there is no surface rust.
