Description

Largest selection of genuine antique weapons for sale in UK. See our website andrewbottomley.com. Ref 1795. A very scarce Chinese short sword with two blades, probably circa 1860-1900. The grips both of horn with brass top and bottom mounts engraved with symbols. The double edged blades are both approx 17 inches long. A very scarce sword quite possibly brought back to the UK as a souvenir after the Boxer rebellion circa 1900-1901. Complete in its matching fish-skin covered scabbard, some damage to the fish-skin covering with a small section missing. (Please see photo). The brass scabbard mounts are in very good condition and are embossed with a large dragon. Overall length in scabbard is 26 inches. Ref 1795.
