A very fine authentic Indian 18th century Katar punch-dagger, the two bar hilt with very fine chizzelling on either side. Probably circa 1700-1800. The iron hilt with the traditional two bar hand grip to the centre. The Katar is one of the oldest and most characteristic of the Indian knife weapons. The blade length is 11 inches. Overall length is 17 inches. In good condition. Ref 2780.
