Rogers & Spencer Army Model revolver, .44 percussion cap and ball, one of approximately 5,800 manufactured at Willowvale, New York, under an 1864 U.S. Ordnance Department contract. Six-shot single-action with the distinctive 7½-inch octagonal barrel and solid frame. A significant piece of American Civil War-era arms history. Condition is fair for its age.
