An inert First World War Italian Brevattato grenade.
The grenade has a cast iron fragmented body with a screw on
cover. The cover has a hole in the centre probably to fit the fuse
or maybe a stick.
It is empty and inert.

The grenade has a diameter of 6cm (2 ⅓ inches) and a length of
8cm (3 ¼ inches).
It weighs 535g.
~ Condition ~
The grenade has pitting and the odd minor damage consistent
with an item that was most likely discovered in the ground.
The screw threads are fine and the piece can be split into two
separate parts.
