Description
British Pattern Socket Bayonet For 1842 Musket & 1851 Minie Rifle. ED 2303
British pattern socket bayonet for the 1842 Musket and 1851 Minie Rifle. The blade is stamped with a crown over "B" & "8" below this is stamped a makers mark of 'S. Hill' and below this is a letter "D". (see page 298 of Kiesling). The overall length of the bayonet is 530mm, the blade length is 432mm, the socket is 79mm and the muzzle ring diameter is 23mm. The bayonet is in very good condition. The price includes UK delivery.
