An original Egyptian socket bayonet, British 1876 Pattern, rebushed for .303 Lee Enfield Rifle (British made). The bayonet has British markings on the top of the blade and Egyptian markings on the sides, as can be seen in the photographs. The socket has a rotating locking ring which has a screw adjuster. The blade is triangular shaped. The blade measures 21 1/2" long, the bayonet overall measures 25 1/4" and the socket is 3" long. The inside diameter of the socket is 17mm. The socket has "37" stamped on the foresight lip, it has British markings stamped on the top of the blade and Egyptian markings stamped on the sides. The blade is in very good condition. The bayonet has no scabbard. The price includes UK delivery.
