An original Japanese Arisaka Bayonet 1897-1950 (Type 30)with wooden grip and metal scabbard. The bayonet is from the Kokura Arsenal, (pre WW2) It has a hooked quillon and muzzel ring. On the head of the pommel it has a stamped number "156006987" It has a polished single edge blade which measures 398mm long. On the Ricasso it has the Japanese manufacturers mark for the Kokura Arsenal. The scabbard is metal. (Please see page 203 of The Bayonet Book by Peter White) The bayonet and scabbard are in very good condition. The price includes Uk delivery.
