This is an excellent & original model 1884/98 matching numbers German Mauser bayonet for K98 rifles. It is dated '38' (1938) on the back of it's polished pristine blade. The bayonet has grooved undamaged bakelite grips and is stamped on the ricasso by the maker, 'W.K.C'. (Weyersberg Kichbaum Cie, Solingen). The reverse is stamped number '4833a'. The pommel is crisply waffenamt. It has its original polished metal scabbard with matching number at the throat. It has a very good original rivetted, black leather frog with belt loop. all stitching & leather of the frog is intact. The price for this nicely marked, Nazi era, matching numbers piece includes UK delivery. ED 2122.
