This is an inert unfired British No 207 fuse for the British 3.7 inch anti-aircraft which was the standard heavy anti-aircraft gun used from 1938 throughout WW2. This clockwork fuse superseded the No 199 powder fuse. This fuse is stamped No.207 l ROF.(B). 1941 with the serial number 828651 and a crowfoot.B stands for the The Royal Ordnance Factory at Blackburn. The main body of the fuse is brass and is stamped in scales from 1 to 30. There is a brass screwed locking collar above this securing the alloy portion of the fuse. Above this is a bakelite ballistic cap. This fuse is in excellent condition.
