BSA Airsporter Centenary .22

A BSA Airsporter Centenary in .22 calibre one of only a thousand manufactured in 1982.

This rifles serial number is number CO 575.

This rifle is in excellent condition having been kept stored by its original purchaser from new and apparently not even fired. There are no marks on the action or the blueing and the stock is in excellent condition also, it’s a matt finish and hasn’t even been polished. The butt pad has the grey powdery finish too which wears off even if it is wiped with a cloth. So we feel that that it is likely never even been out of its box let alone used.

The rifle is complete with its original open sights and factory fitted sling studs.The accessory pack is complete with the boxed BSA scope, scope mounts, arrester block, sling swivels, embroidered badge, BSA stick on badge (for the pistol grip), leather sling, foresight hood, target holder, targets, sample pellets, hang tag and oil bottle. All of these have, importantly, never been fitted to the rifle. The certificate of authenticity is included. The set is complete with its centenary gun bag in excellent order generally although one of the plastic handles has broken, Included is the original outer cardboard box supplied with the rifle from new. This in in good order apart from a split on one side.

A rare superb example of a very collectable BSA Air Rifle and definitely the best example we have seen.

Air guns and Air Rifles manufactured after 1939 are restricted by the Violent Crime Reduction Act as regards sale and delivery and as such the transaction must be on a face to face basis.
