The brass cartridge case is percussion primed and is headstamped 41 7f (kam Hasag, Eisen- u. Metallwerke GmbH, Skarzysko Kamiennawaffenampt) 102 . The steel projectile is a copper driving banded high explosive incendiary with a steel nose fuse stamped ZZ1505A eez 206 waffenampt 95 44 (date) The projectile retains much of its original yellow paint with a green 5mm wide incendiary band under the steel nose fuse. The projectile is stencilled in black above the copper driving band evv 86 Mv exw (Metallwerke Holleischen, Kreis Mies, Sudeten Germany) 257/44 Both projectile and cartridge case have no cracks in the necks.
