Create my profile now! This is a quality made Victorian double barrel percussion shotgun. It has 30” brown wash steel barrels and measures 46” overall. The 15 Bore barrels set side by side have a central flat top barrel rib. The smooth bores are in superb clean condition. It has its original walnut stock which has just the bumps and bruises to be expected with age and use. Its steel butt plate tang, trigger guard with extended tang & hammers have light foliate engraved decoration. The fore stock has German silver mounts. The wrist is inlaid with void German silver escutcheon. The barrels have German Silver inserts at the breech. Both side plates have foliate decoration together with scenes of hunting dogs in the field. The shotgun is fitted with bead foresight and has its original wood ramrod with brass end caps. Surprisingly for a shotgun of this high quality there are no visible manufacturer’s names on this piece. The weapon cocks & dry fires as it should. Price includes UK delivery. NB. As an antique percussion shotgun no licence is required to own this weapon in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. Sn 12661
