The Argentine Military Ballester-Molina pistols & Sistema Colt Modelo 1927 were Argentine licensed copies of the U.S. Colt M1911A1 .45 Calibre semi auto pistol. These Pistols and their Military holsters saw service with Argentina's Military during The Falklands War. This is an excellent original Falklands War era holster for Ballester-Molina & Sistema Colt Modelo 1927 pistols no doubt a Falklands War souvenir bring back (would also carry the U.S. Colt 1911). Made of olive green leather it has a full flap cover with retaining strap and steel strap bar. It also has a magazine carrier with full flap cover and steel stud fastener. The carrier will carry 2 x 7 round .45 Calibre magazines. The rear of the holster has a single belt loop, 2 hanging rings secured by riveted leather tabs and a small leather loop for thigh strap.
