Produced by EL Gamo in Spain during the early 1980’s.
It was imported by ‘ASI’ of Saxmundham, Suffolk who were the main importers of EL Gamo Rifles in the 1970’s and 80’s. These rifles were also offered for sale by major catalogue companies and were posted out to purchasers direct and, to many, were probably their first introduction to Air Rifle shooting.
This particular rifle comes with its original cardboard box packaging and instructions.
The box lid has a target printed on it and a previous owner has fired a few shots at it.
It rifle looks to have has little use and is in good condition. The blueing on the barrel and action is in good order. The varnished beech stock is in good order too with only a few marks from storage.
It is complete with its factory front and rear sights and is supplied with an ‘ASI’ Japanese manufactured 4 x 20 ‘image moving’ rifle scope. The scope was apparently fitted and zeroed in the ‘ASI workshops’ prior to sale, according to the packaging. We of course don’t guarantee its still zeroed after over 40 years !
It cocks and fires without any issues.
A great example of this junior Air Rifle.
Air guns and Air Rifles manufactured after 1939 are restricted by the Violent Crime Reduction Act as regards sale and delivery and as such the transaction must be on a face to face basis.
They can be posted but ONLY to another Registered Firearms dealer.
