This Prussian model 1809 measures 56 1/2 inches overall length with a 41 inch long barrel in .750 calibre smoothbore. It has all original woodwork with figured cheek piece. The wood has just the bumps and bruises to be expected of a weapon of this age and has a brass trigger guard with extended tang, brass barrel bands and fore end block marked with Crown devices. It has a blade fore sight, fixed rear 'v' block sight, steel butt plate & original steel ramrod. It has a blued plain side plate stamped by the manufacturer 'Suhl S&C' With Crown and a heavy military dolphin hammer. The right side of the stock has a curved brass plate stamped with Imperial inspection mark and the barrel is stamped with similar inspection marks and a faint Crown device. It's cocking and firing action works as it should. Price includes UK delivery.
