Nazi German 1933 Pattern SA Dagger By Herder F.A. & Sohn (Rarity 4) With Scabbard. ED 2349

This is an original 1933 pattern SA dagger and scabbard in excellent condition.The blade is crisply stamped with the manufacturers Herder FA. & Sohn, Solingen name & Crossed Keys legend. Linder made approximately 22,000 of these daggers and are rated as rarity value 4 (10 being highest rarity value) in the book The service daggers of the SA & The NSKK by Siegert. The wooden grips are original. The German National Emblem and 'SA' roundel are perfectly fitted. It has a Nickel plated cross guard stamped 'wf', & pommel. It's has some staining consistent with age but no rust. The blade has the correct "Alles Fur Deutschland" inscription. The dagger is complete with it's original brown painted metal scabbard with nickel plated chape and locket. The scabbard retains much of it's original brown paint and has no dents.
