A Rare variation of the 2nd Pattern FS fighting knife/dagger Also known as 'Fat Boy' because of the bigger chunky and bulbous grip. This FS knife has unusual features, the hilt is very chunky, the grip portion has very deep and course knurling, also the correct pattern sheath for these knives has a larger than usual chape. This is an excellent condition WW2 2nd pattern, FS dagger and scabbard. The dagger is in excellent condition with the deep knurled handle, cross guard, and blade all blackened with no marks of any kind for issue to Covert Ops teams (See page 63 of British & Commonwealth Military Knives By Flook). The base of the hilt has "6" and the War Department 'Crows Foot' stamped into it, see the second photograph. The scabbard is dark brown leather and has a brass chape. The price includes Uk delivery.
