Create my profile now!A Shutz-Truppen WW1 German Officer's folding Bowie fighting knife and brown leather shaped scabbard. The folding Bowie knife is stamped at the ricasso with "Mann & Federlein Solingen". This was manufactured for Overseas Service by Germans in East Africa. The knife has a 7 1/2" steel single edged blade with false edge. The blade is released from it's open locked position by folding over a steel tab at the base of the grips and pressing, the blade then folds into the handle and locks firmly leaving a useful shorter blade bowie knife (4" blade) The grips are antler and retained with six brass pin rivets. It has a plain steel crest on one side secured to the grips. The folded knife fits snugly into the shaped, brown leather scabbard which also has a belt loop and securing straps with press stud. It has a polished metal chape. The price includes Uk delivery
