Description

An excellent original WW2 3rd Pattern Fairburn Sykes fighting knife or dagger. The 3rd pattern knife was introduced in 1942 ( see page 61 & 62 of British & Commonwealth Military Knives By Flook). It has an undamaged ribbed alloy handle with original brown paint and a nice clean blade. The cross guard is crisply stamped with war dept inspection mark 'B2' with arrow. It is complete with original leather scabbard with external chape. It's original elastic is present. The scabbard's original stitched on leather tabs have been cut back. All leather & stitching is intact. Price includes UK delivery. Sn 8798:13
