Create my profile now!Model 306 goggles often referred to as Lietz goggles because of the famous German optical firm which manufactured many of the early examples used the same lenses as the model 295 but had separate rubber cushions and were adjustable by means of 2 small screws on the bridge. The advantage being that the focal point could be positioned correctly to avoid distortion for the wearer. The Model 306 goggles were issued with tinted lenses ( see page 40 of the book Luftwaffe vs RAF by Prodger). This is an excellent original example of the Luftwaffe Model 306 flying Goggles . The goggles are clean & undamaged with all of the correct Model 306 features including tinted lenses and adjustable bridge. The webbing head strap has small original number ink stamps which are indistinct . The display head illustrated in the images is not included. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 15339:5
