Victorian 5 Function Horsemans Knife by Lockwood Brothers Of Sheffield ED 2453 This is a good quality stag handled horsemans knife with 2 blades and 3 tools by Lockwood brothers of Sheffield. One blade caries the C+X over Lockwood Brothers of Sheffield trade mark and the other the same trade mark plus “REAL KNIFE” AND A RUNNING OSTRICH OVER PAMPA. THIS WAS AN INDICATION OF Lockwoods South American market. The firm could trace its roots back to 1767 but by 1933 it had disappeared from local directories. The knife measures 4 inches long with an opened length of 6 ¼ inches. One of the grips is chipped as shown in the images but is secure. This knife carries a blank silver shield to one grip and has wear and tear commensurate with its age. The price includes U.K. delivery. ED 2455
