Iron frame and two piece wooden grips.These spur trigger derringers were made as “hideout” guns for men and women alike in all walks of life, but the prostitutes out West found them to be ideal for their self-protection. Many women of the night in the wild West kept small pistols handy in their beds, or next to their beds, to protect themselves from the hazards of their profession.
