This is a near mint fully functioning, WW2 British Officer's Military Compass. It has a brass case and is mounted with lanyard ring. The glass face and numbered brass outer ring are perfectly in tact. The rear of the compass is nicely marked by the manufacturer 'T.G. & Co Ltd London' together with 'No. 290511' and '1944' date. The rear of the compass also has WD arrow and 'MK III' model detail all highlighted in original white paint. The compass is complete with it's leather compass pouch with flap cover buckle fastener and leather shoulder/neck strap which has a WD arrow stamp. The front of the case is impressed with date '1944' and manufacturer detail 'F.Ltd' and WD arrow. Price for this nicely marked WW2 piece of equipment with matching WW2 dates includes UK delivery.
