A Umarex ‘John Wayne Duke’ Special Limited edition Colt Single Action Army(SAA) 45 Air Pistol.
It’s a .177 Calibre pellet firing example using standard 16g CO2 bulbs.
This pistol is numbered 36 of a limited production 600 examples. This replica Colt SAA was manufactured to Commemorate the famous Western Actor John Wayne also known as the ‘Duke’
This is a special American example supplied to the Airgun Depot of Arizona and not available in the UK in this specification as far as we are aware.
It features the ‘weathered antique finish’, ivory coloured plastic grips with a medallion featuring John ‘Duke’ Wayne. Also on the back strap the signature of John Wayne TM
The pistol itself is in excellent probably unused condition.
It comes in a beautiful special handcrafted maplewood presentation box with John Waynes signature imprinted on the lid. The interior features special foam cut outs which contour the pistol and present it at it’s best.
It is complete with a Umarex Owners operators manual from Umarex USA Inc along with paperwork for the pistol relating to Umarex USA, 7700 Chad Colley Boulevard, Fort Smith, Arkansas which shows its USA Provenance.
We’ve charged the pistol up with a CO2 bulb and it cocks and fires with no issues and is complete with six dummy shells.
It may not be antique but we definitely think its collectable and becoming a classic. We’ve had plenty of Colt SAA’s from Umarex before but never this special edition USA model. There can’t be many of these in the UK.
