18thC (1750's) Vaughan of Bristol, brass flintlock pocket pistol, named and engraved lock with 'Vaughan' and 'Bristol' on either side, brass frame, line engraved hammer and underframe, with proof marks on the underside, thumb slide safety, folding trigger, 3" smooth bore turn-off brass barrel, overall length 6". Slab sided walnut grip. Hammer good in first and second position and firing in full cock.
