Victorian 1879-80 Hallmarked Silver Bladed Pocket Knife With Mother Of Pearl Slabs and Engraved Silver Mounts. Sn 11478:2 - 11478:2

A Victorian 1879-80 hallmarked silver bladed pocket knife with mother of pearl slabs and engraved silver mounts. The slabs are made from quality pieces of mother of pearl and have a very nice appearance. The slabs are secured with three pins. One slab has an inlaid name plate with "Ged Marsh" engraved on it. The knife is silver mounted with an ornately engraved end. It has a full length hallmarked silver blade hallmarked to 1954-55. (see one of the photographs). The makers stamp "T.M." also stamped on the blade. The blade is in excellent condition and is firm and locks out without any play. It measures 60mm and the knife measures 84mm closed and 145mm open.
